Where would you normally use this stainless steel handrail fitting?
When needing to create a support post from 50.8 round stainless tube, this base plate can be welded to the bottom of the tube, so that the post can be more easily fixed to the ground. The domed cover (SSF011-M6 and SSF011-S6) can be used to cover it.
What is it made out of?
316 grade Stainless Steel.
Can it be used for exterior applications?
As it is 316 grade Stainless Steel, it is more than suitable for use outside.
How do you fix it to the stainless steel tube?
It must be welded to the tube. Glue will not work.
