Mould for Stair Posts (890mm Length)

A decorative length of moulding designed to be paired with our range of prestige/hamptons posts. It is sold by the metre, but can be supplied in a variety of different lengths upon request, simply include this information in the notes section at checkout.

This product is made from radiata pine, and has been sanded ready for painting.

Note: This product is not suitable for external use.

Where would you normally timber mould ?
As decorative mould on a stair post.

What is it made out of ?
Plantation grown Radiata Pine.

What are the important dimensions ?
26mm High x 16mm Thick.
The 890mm length is enough to go around 4 sides of a 115sq or 155sq Post.

How should you finish it ?
If looking for a natural finish, then a clear lacquer will be fine; or you can use a stain to achieve your desired colour then use a clear lacquer to finish it off.
If wanting to paint, a water based primer/undercoat is not a necessity (although it wouldn’t hurt), but at least 2 coats of the final colour is a must.
